Keweenaw Storm U19 Girls Capture State Crown

The Keweenaw Storm Girls U19 team traveled in early March to Dearborn and walked away with another state title. The Girls went undefeated through the tourney, and defeated the Marquette Advantedge team 1-0 in the final game. The girls are now in Dallas, Texas participating in the USA Hockey National Tournament which can be heard locally on 93.5 WKMJ-FM. Game times are as follows:

Volunteer Sign-Up

Calumet Hockey is using the DIBS system to schedule and manage our volunteer opportunities including hours in the concession stand. To get started, please do the following:

STEP 1: CLICK HERE to activate your volunteer account. This activation prepares your TST Account to become a user of the Volunteer Tool. This activation is required for all families with skaters that are Squirt age or older and will be volunteering in the Colosseum concession stand. Concession hours at the Gipp Arena for mites, including mite selects, will be scheduled independently. When registering, please do not count the skaters in your family that are mites.

Goalie Appreciation Dinner

The First Annual Calumet Hockey Association Goalie Appreciation Dinner will be held on Wednesday, May 16, 2012 in the ballroom of the Calumet Colosseum.

A Social will be at 5:30 PM, with Dinner following at 6:00.

Anyone interested in supporting Calumet goaltending is welcome to attend. The Special Guest for the dinner will be Gary Kruzich, Finlandia University Goalie Coach.
The cost for the roast beef dinner will be $10.00, and CHA GOALIES EAT FREE.

The dinner will be prepared by Executive Chef, Mark Pittilo of Portage Health.
